Sony Xperia Z5 Review

The smartphone that we all have wanted but never were lucky enough to see is finally here. Sony has yet gain exceeded expectations and finally tended to the needs and wants of its countless fans. Having launched another phone in the ultimate Xperia series, the Z5 is probably the best one out there and here is why.

Design

After Xperia S/P some users implied that the design was not as comfortable and elegant as they were hoping for. The Z5 that just came out in 2015 is all for it. Having an elegant and unique body, rectangular, but curved at the sides for better grip and the back just screams out awesomeness when a person takes a look at the wonderful back with the camera just on the top left even though it has the qualities to show off.

The phone is 5.7″ in height, and 0.28″ thickness can make it simple for anyone to call it slim, and the length being 2.83″. The power button is not just jumping out of the body, as it was in the earlier models and becoming a bad sight, instead it neatly sits on the same level as the side body. The volume keys and the camera key have shifted below instead of the top. The phone is not only dustproof, it is also waterproof. Gorilla Glass 4 on both sides and rubber bumpers on the corners to absorb shocks.

Screen

With a 5.2″ FHD 1080p display, meaning 1920×1080, the screen really makes things look way better as compared with any other phones in the market. It also has the Triluminos display, combined with Dynamic Contrast Enhancer, and the X-Reality technology, this phone raises the bar to a whole new level. The screen works perfectly once you get the images from its incredible camera, making the true high-definition pictures concept, a reality.

Performance

A smartphone that we all need has to have fast performance. And Z5 is prepared for that. A quad-core Cortex-A53 clocked at 1.5GHz and another quad-core Cortex A57, as well as an Adreno 430 GPU. That’s backed up by 3GB of RAM as well. The earlier model Z3+ had reviews about the issues in its performance but Sony assures that they have been improved this time around.

Software

Coming to one of the key points, the Z5 comes with a built-in state of the art Android 5.1 Lollipop, and new to the phone is the mixed user interface of both, Sony and stock Android. The phone also comes with the one of the best finger print sensors out there.

Camera

The news you all must have craved for. The camera, in simple words, is dominating the market with 23 mega pixels. Gaining the top with this feature, this phone really takes it to the new level combined with its state of the art performance and screen resolution, the images are hard to distinguish from reality. Slow motion video, and auto focus with almost 0.03 seconds, make this phone the phenomenal smart phone in the market.
